This information is used solely to respond to inquiries, schedule services, and fulfill customer requests. When you first visit this website you will see a short notice at the bottom of the screen asking whether you accept an analytics cookie. If you accept, we load Google Analytics, which sets a cookie in your browser and tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, and roughly where in the country they came from. If you decline, or if you ignore the notice, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookie is set. You can change your answer at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, we do not use a chat widget, and we do not use session-replay or screen-recording software of any kind. Our contact page includes a Google Maps embed so you can find our office; Google may set its own cookies inside that map. Information you type into our contact form is sent to us and to our scheduling system so we can respond to your request, and it is not used for advertising.
Bertie Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC will collect verbal opt-ins from customers. Customers will be able to opt in to receive SMS notifications (e.g., billing, appointment reminders, dispatch updates, job completion surveys) either in person at your location or during a phone call initiated by the customer. Upon first registration, customers will be asked for their phone number and informed about receiving text messages. They will also be notified of possible message and data rates, variable message frequency, and instructions to text HELP for support or STOP to unsubscribe. Customers will also be informed that their number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
