New Construction HVAC in Gainesville & North Central Florida

HVAC system design and installation for new builds — sized and specified right from the blueprint.

Overview

New Construction HVAC done right

The comfort and efficiency of a new home is decided long before anyone moves in — at the blueprint, when the HVAC is designed and sized. Bertie Heating & Air partners with builders and homeowners across North Central Florida to design and install systems that fit the build: correct load calculations, well-routed ductwork, and high-efficiency equipment specified for the home’s glass, orientation, and layout. Get it right at construction and the home is comfortable and efficient for decades.

  • HVAC design from the blueprint stage
  • Computerized load calculations for correct sizing
  • Efficient ductwork design and routing
  • High-efficiency and inverter equipment options
  • Coordination with builders and trades
  • Clean, code-compliant installation and inspection

How It Works

Our new construction hvac process

  1. 01

    Design

We design the system and ductwork from the blueprint stage, sized to the home’s build specifications, orientation, window placement, and insulation type.

  2. 02

    Coordinate

We schedule rough-in, working with the other trades.

  3. 03

    Install

The ductwork and grills are installed first, followed by the equipment set. Once the home is nearing completion, we return to complete the system start up.

  4. 04

    Commission

We then balance and verify the system is operating correctly, and register the warranty for the new homeowner.

FAQ

New Construction HVAC questions, answered

Why does new-construction HVAC design matter so much?

Because the decisions made during the design and construction phase — system sizing, duct layout, equipment selection, and airflow planning — will affect your home’s comfort, efficiency, and operating costs for decades. A properly designed HVAC system delivers consistent temperatures, better humidity control, and lower energy bills from day one. Getting it right during construction is almost always far less expensive than correcting comfort, airflow, or efficiency problems after the home is finished.

Do you work with builders?

Yes. We coordinate design, rough-in, and set up with builders and the other trades to keep the project on schedule.

Can you spec high-efficiency or inverter equipment for a new build?

Absolutely — new construction is the ideal time to design around an efficient or inverter system, because the ductwork and layout can be built to suit it.

Do you handle the load calculations and permits?

Yes. We run the computerized load calculations and install to code so the system passes inspection and performs as designed.

Smart Comfort. Smart Savings.
